Issu des rave parties, ce DJ/compositeur/arrangeur français participe désormais à d'innombrables événements dans le monde entier. De son vrai nom Alexandre Paounov, il a fortement participé au développement du monvement des free-parties dans les années 90. POPOF s'inscrit dans un monde aussi particulier que surprenant puisqu'il combine particulièrement la techno minimal et l' électro.
Déjà très demandé par des artistes tels que Vitalic, Moby, Martin Solveig ou encore Chemical Brothers, chacun de ses nouveaux titres finit directement au top 5 des listes de téléchargements.
