Following the announcement of Gilles Peterson’s Worldwide Awards at KOKO on Saturday 18th January, there will also be an official second event on Sunday 19th January at London’s XOYO. Fans will be able to catch extended live sets from psych - soul outfit The Internet, as well as hotly tipped rapper/producer Jonwayne. Christian Rich, LeFto, and Brownswood’s main man Gilles Peterson will also be DJing at the party.

The Internet are an LA based duo, made up of Odd Future member Syd ‘The Kyd’ and producer Matt Martians. Their recent sophomore LP ‘Feel Good’ has received widespread critical acclaim and feels like a natural progression in the burgeoning career of this exciting act. Stones Throw Records artist Jonwayne released his debut album ‘Rap Album One’ last year, following a series of successful mixtapes. With a reputation as a thrilling live performer, Jonwayne is not to be missed.

Also performing at the event are DJ and production duo Christian Rich, twins from LA who have worked on a number of huge records, including Drake’s ‘Nothing Was The Same’ and Earl Sweatshirt’s ‘Doris’. LeFtO is one of Europe’s most important tastemakers and very much part of the Brownswood Worldwide family. Consistently a couple of steps ahead, he doesn't wait for the next thing to land on his lap, he actively seeks it out and as such, his appearance is sure to be a highlight of the night. Brownswood founder, broadcasting legend, and Worldwide Awards host Gilles Peterson needs no introduction, and his closing DJ set is sure to end the night on the right note.

The Worldwide Awards after-party is in association with Soho based sneaker store Foot Patrol, one of London’s foremost trainer spots. The party takes place at XOYO on the 19th of January, and runs from 7pm through to midnight.
