Old school Death metal – USA
Formed in early 2011 as Anthropophagy this Californian powerhouse quickly changed their name to Skeletal Remains to release their debut album Beyond the Flesh in 2012. A 10 out of 10 world wide acclaimed album that showed us that Oldschool Death Metal with a dark edge in the likes of Pestilence and Death is still alive and kicking. Skeletal Remains gives us the perfect marriage between the Dutch and Floridan Death Metal that put Death Metal on the map in the early 90s. After embarking on a short European tour in July-August 2013 the band is recording their second full length and will be return to Europe in January 2015.
